The price of a cigarette is to be increased by Rs. 5, Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa said today.
The Finance Minister said that a price increase on cigarettes is being enforced after a lapse of 3 years.
The prince increase takes effect with the tax on cigarettes being increased with immediate effect. (Colombo Gazette)
