An 8-year-old girl has been burnt to death in a fire at a house in Weligama, the Police said.
The Police believed the fire had ignited in a room where the girl was sleeping.
Two others who were in the house at the time had managed to escape.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. (Colombo Gazette)
