A woman has allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) building in Fort.
The Police said that the woman had been arrested over allegations of committing fraud.
According to the Police, the woman was being questioned by the CID when she jumped out of a window on the 5th floor of the building.
The 46-year-old woman was reported dead on admission to hospital. (Colombo Gazette)
