The power cuts scheduled for tomorrow (Monday) have been reduced following an assurance given by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).
The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) said that the power cuts will be limited to 3 hours and 20 minutes tomorrow.
This was after the CPC assured it has sufficient fuel for power generation.
The PUCSL had previously approved a request made by the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) to enforce power cuts for over 04 hours. (Colombo Gazette)
