Heads of State media institutions have been asked to resign by Media Minister Bandula Gunawardane.
The newly appointed Media Minister has requested heads of print and electronic media to step down.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the Independent Television Network (ITN) Niroshan Premaratne submitted his resignation.
