There has been speculation that the military is preparing to storm Galle Face and remove the protesters from the area.
However, Chief of Defence Staff, General Shavendra Silva said that there is no move to storm the protest site.
Former Army Commander, Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka also said that there is no such move. (Colombo Gazette)
