The maximum retail price on several medical devices have been amended.
Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has issued a gazette notice amending the prices.
Accordingly, the maximum retail price of stents, blood sugar monitoring systems, test strips for blood sugar monitoring systems, pulse oximeter and intraocular lenses or lenses with delivery systems have been amended.
The regulations have been made by the Minister of Health under Section 142 of the National Medicines Regulatory Authority Act, No. 5 of 2015. (Colombo Gazette)
