The Police arrested 45 suspected illegal migrants from a hotel in Unawatuna.
According to the Police, the suspected illegal migrants were preparing to travel to Australia by boat at the time of arrest.
Among those arrested are women and children.
The Habaraduwa Police carried out the raid and arrest based on information they had received.
