Two people have been shot dead in the Thiranagama area in Hikkaduwa.
The Police said that the gunmen had arrived on a motorcycle and carried out the shooting.
The two victims had sustained serious injuries in the shooting incident and were admitted to the Karapitiya Hospital.
According to the Police, the two people had succumbed to their injuries in hospital. (Colombo Gazette)
