A decision has been taken to temporarily close the Peradeniya University in Kandy.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, M. D Lamawansa said that due to the current situation, the Peradeniya University will be closed from today.
All students have been informed to leave the premises.
The Vice Chancellor said that students will be informed when a decision is taken to reopen the university. (Colombo Gazette)
