Over 80 people sustained injuries in clashes near Parliament and the Prime Minister’s Office yesterday (Wednesday).
Hospital sources said that 42 people sustained injuries at the Polduwa Junction near Parliament.
Women were among those who sustained injuries in the incidents.
Also injured are policemen, a soldier and some journalists. (Colombo Gazette)
