The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) attached to the Monaragala Police Station has been arrested with several cannabis plants.
SSP Sisira Kumara was arrested by the Police Special Task Force (STF).
The Police media unit said that over 350 cannabis plants were seized.
According to the Police, a metal detector was also found in his possession. (Colombo Gazette)
