A decision taken by the Education Ministry to extend school hours by one hour has been suspended.
Education Minister Dinesh Gunawardena said that the move has been temporarily suspended owing to the ongoing fuel crisis.
Government schools were to extend school hours by one hour from 18 April.
The new school term of all Government schools is set to resume tomorrow (Monday). (Colombo Gazette)
